What hours are the Policy Holder Service Department Open?

Policy Service is open from 7:30 to 5:00 Pacific time.

Is there a Spanish speaking PHS representative available?

Yes, Spanish assistance is available ask for Extension 226.

Does my policy have cash value?

If your policy is a form of Ordinary Life or a Versatile Life policy, it will have cash value beginning in the second or third policy year. Term products and Family Rider coverage do not have cash values.

Can I borrow against my policy?

If your policy has cash value, you may take out a loan against it. Loan interest on Versatile Life is one percent greater than the current interest rate applied to the policy. Call for Loan Interest on other types of policies.  Payment of the loan is discretionary. The death benefits of the policy will be reduced by the amount of the loan.

Can I make changes to my policy after it has gone into force?

In most cases, YES! You may add or delete riders, adjust the face amount and various other changes. This allows you to personalize your coverage - making changes to meet you and your family's changing needs over the years.

What if my premium is late?

There is a 31 day grace period on all premiums due. Your policy will not terminate before then. If your policy has cash value and you have elected the Automatic Premium Loan Option on your application, we will automatically take a loan to cover the premiums once it becomes 60 days past due.

My premium is deducted automatically from my bank each month, and I am going to be closing my bank account. What should I do?

Please give our office a call at 1-800-541-5858. We can either send you a new Bank Authorization form for a new account or change the mode of payment so you receive a billing through the mail.

I feel that a different mode of payment would suit my needs better. How may I change my payment mode?

You may give our office a call and we can go over the options available to you. There are many options available to you.
