I, started marketing life insurance and annuities in 1976. Initially a captive agent, I went "independent" in 1978 and joined North Coast Life as a General Agent in 1981. The NCL business volume written qualified me for all conventions and for President's Club in most years.

Quality business begins at the point of sale and with that; good persistency numbers will follow. I have always believed in properly informing the client of the basics of their plan and any options that may be available. My early attention to the policyholder yields business that stays on the books. That is financially rewarding both for the agent and the company. North Coast Life is not just looking for agents; but quality agents that write quality business.

With the retirement of Robert Blair in 1999; I was requested to "step up" to a management position and "take the helm" for the Pacific NorthWest Region. Since then, life volume has increased and annuity sales have increased dramatically.

North Coast Life is a "service oriented" company with a product portfolio aimed at middle-America. We have Current Interest Whole Life plans. Graded Benefit Whole Life. "Burial Plans" for the senior market (issuable to age 85). Term insurance plans are available on a stand alone basis or as a rider. Our fixed annuities are: Flexible Premium, Single Premium, or Immediate.
